If you have a new cough or high temperature or change in sense of taste or smell you must self-isolate and should arrange to be tested under the Scottish Government's `Test & Protect' programme.  Further advice is on the NHS Inform website at www.nhsinform.scot/campaigns/test-and-protect or phone 0800 028 2816.

If you have a cough or fever or change in sense of taste or smell and you need medical attention telephone dial 111 for NHS 24.  Patients in high risk groups should phone 111 as soon as they get symptoms.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR DOORS REMAIN LOCKED IN ORDER TO RESTRICT FACE-TO-FACE CONTACT WITH OUR HEALTH CARE TEAM.  Access to the building will be for pre-arranged appointments only for essential care.  Please bring your mobile phone with you.


On arrival at front door, a notice will advise you to call a mobile telephone number to let us know you have arrived.  You will be asked to wait in your car.  Tell us if you arrive on foot/by bus.  We will call you back to tell you when to enter the building.  If you do not have a mobile phone, please ring the doorbell and stand back from the door and wait.  Our Receptionist may have left the front desk to carry out a task - please be patient.


Adults to enter alone, unless carer required.  Children under age 16 may be accompanied by one carer.


Repeat prescriptions - our timescale for preparing prescriptions has been extended to 4 working days. All prescriptions will be sent to a nominated pharmacyAllow a further 2 working days before attending the pharmacy.  If you have not nominated a pharmacy your prescription has been sent to Anderson & Spence, Fountainhall Road.  Please let us know if you want to nominate a different pharmacy for your next prescription order.

In certain circumstances, a GP, our Nurse Practitioner or another member of our Healthcare Team may decide to offer a video appointment.  This would usually be following an initial telephone consultation.  The system used for this is NHS Near Me video appointments, powered by the Attend Anywhere system.

NHS Near Me Information

NHS Near Me is a video consulting service which allows patients to attend an appointment from the comfort of their own home or wherever is convenient, using their own computer, smartphone or tablet device.

To use this service you must have a booked video appointment with the practice.
